Too Good To Eat Treats!

Home Kong Kitchen has been spreading the word (not that she particularly needed our help as her edible art speaks for itself!) about 3D Jelly Art enthusiast Siamy Tan’s incredible talents and charitable endeavours cooking meals for the homeless after she reached out to us to see if we’d help her arrange workshops and charity events for her forthcoming trip to Hong Kong!

Having connected her to the brilliant Grassroots Future, Siamy will be delivering a HUGE batch of her famous jelly cakes to our friends at Refugee Union this Tuesday! Then, on Thursday, we will be delivering more of her incredible jelly cakes to the homeless at ImpactHK and the wonderful women migrants of Bethune House! I cannot WAIT to see the looks on their faces when we roll up with something this exquisitely beautiful!!!

It’s almost a crime to eat it! (Who knew crime tasted this good?)

We’ll also be packing in some extra deliveries of homeware and furniture for migrants and refugees this week. Thanks to volunteers Tina Eldridge and Amy Shroff for giving me the opportunity to add ‘furniture removals’ to my illustrious Home Kong Kitchen CV! It’s making my hump hurt just thinking about it. 🤣
