Home Kong Kitchen‘s Mid Autumn Muffin Run for the elderly and vulnerable took place on Sat! HKK’s cuddly mascot Mojo Hobo Kaye and I delivered 100 muffins baked by our resident pro baker Alana Ho and our most prolific home baker Chriz Abert (rapidly becoming a pro!) to the elderly in a square in Kwun Tong and at their homes close by. Thanks to our friends at Amigos HK who arranged this sweet treat for us! The non-bakers in our amazing community donated cleaning products and sanitizers (always handy following a muffin), included in our gift bags. Such a great time was had by all that we now intend to make Saturday muffin runs for the elderly a monthly event!
